Total Sports Asia launching new Player Management Division
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – (TSA) Total Sports Asia is excited to begin a new venture with the launch of our new player management division. The division will be managed by Mr. Etienne Rizk, a qualified French lawyer in the field of player contracts and transfers.
TSA Player Management Division will be assisting clubs, players and coaches across the continent in all football related contractual issues. Our aim is to set higher contractual standards, closer to top European clubs, in compliance with local FA and international FIFA regulations. As a registered football intermediary, TSA Player Management Division will also offer clubs, players and coaches access to our extensive network and represent their interests in negotiating and securing transfers, players/ coaches employment contracts and/or endorsement deals.
Marcus Luer, Group CEO, mentions: We have looked into the football player management and transfer space for some time as we have strong relationships with Leagues, clubs and player agents around the world. For me it was important to have the right person heading the Division. Etienne brings exactly that missing piece, as a trained lawyer, he has dealt with player transfers in Europe. That provides us with a unique position here in Asia where the player transfer market is still a fairly “unregulated” industry. TSA will bring needed professionalism and legal structure to the system. We are looking forward to working closely with the Clubs and players across Leagues in South East Asia and beyond.
